Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Specialty Access & Reimbursement Manager (SARM) to drive patient access for GSK specialty medicines and educate providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies.

You will collaborate with Payer Account Managers and field teams, travel up to 60%, and work in a matrix environment requiring strong leadership; 3+ years in reimbursement or related fields are required, with MBA/MPH preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ability to travel up to 60% including overnights.
• Residency within territory or commuting distance.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, specialty, payer-related roles or similar.
• Strong leadership and ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of payer environment and reimbursement methodologies, and HCPCS/CPT/ ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports access to GSK Specialty products for appropriate patients.
• Educates providers on payer coverage, coding and payment policies and explains GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Interfacing with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors and field teams.
• Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
• Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise.
• Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams.
• Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs.
• Support patient access to products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues.
• Reports to a Director of Specialty Field Reimbursement.
