Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in the United States is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC guiding providers and patients through onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment support within the oncology portfolio.

The PAM will educate on payer coverage, prior authorization, and PAP programs, coordinate with specialty pharmacy and back-office teams, and ensure HIPAA-compliant communications across territories; willingness to travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or access/navigation roles.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and possess a valid driver’s license.
Experience with payer coverage, prior authorization, and access criteria is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as field-based SPOC guiding patients, caregivers, and HCP staff on oncology coverage and program resources.
Explain benefit investigation outcomes, prior authorization, and PAP processes to offices.
Educate about coverage, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options; coordinate enrollment in GSK services.
Document interactions in CRM systems and maintain HIPAA-compliant communications.
Escalate complex payer issues to the access specialist team and leadership.
