Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will develop relations with business partners, run competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and optimize spend using analytics and market intelligence.

The role focuses on driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supplier collaboration while ensuring alignment with legal and compliance teams across Cardinal Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• 3+ years in strategic indirect sourcing and negotiation.
• Strong communication and financial acumen.
• Experience with supplier management and category management.

Responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing for indirect categories (e.g., EHS, Energy, Facilities).
• Partner with stakeholders as primary supplier relations lead.
• Collaborate with indirect suppliers to source goods and services.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize new contracts; maintain existing ones.
• Manage RFP events and drive purchasing discipline and compliance.
• Review BuyNow requests and new supplier setups.
• Coordinate with legal/compliance for favorable terms.
