Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will partner with category business partners to understand needs, run competitive bids, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization through spend analytics and market intelligence.

The role focuses on developing supplier relationships, managing procurement processes, and ensuring favorable terms while working with legal and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in business, supply chain, finance or economics.
• 3+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management and negotiation.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and suppliers.
• Strong financial acumen and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead category sourcing for assigned indirect categories (e.g., EHS, Energy, Facilities).
• Partner with stakeholders across indirect categories to source goods and services.
• Negotiate and finalize new supplier contracts; manage existing contracts.
• Manage RFP events and drive purchasing discipline and compliance.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance for favorable terms.
