Cardinal Health is seeking an Advisor, Strategic Sourcing to lead end-to-end sourcing for indirect categories. You will partner with category business teams to understand needs, run competitive bidding, negotiate, contract, and deliver cost optimization opportunities using spend analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, supply chain, finance or economics.
• 3+ years in strategic sourcing (indirect), category management, supplier management and negotiation are preferred.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills; ability to engage all levels of the organization and external partners.
• Strong financial acumen; able to analyze costs and contracts.
• Proven project and process management skills; ability to deliver complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Lead for assigned indirect categories, including EHS, Energy and Facilities.
• Primary sourcing partner support for key stakeholders within assigned indirect categories.
• Work closely with indirect suppliers to source indirect goods and services.
• Initiate, negotiate and finalize new indirect supplier contracts and maintain existing ones.
• Manage RFP events within assigned indirect categories.
• Drive purchasing discipline and compliance with internal stakeholders.
• Review and approve BuyNow requests and new supplier setups within categories.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure favorable terms.
