Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Solutions Account Manager for Research Intelligence to partner with universities and transform research workflows using AI-powered solutions. You will lead strategic accounts, drive revenue growth, and cultivate long-term partnerships that place Elsevier’s research intelligence tools at the heart of institutional strategy.

Territory includes CO, KS, MT, ND, SD, WY, NE and MO; residence in these states is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex accounts with revenue targets.
• Ability to engage senior academic and institutional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking to translate needs into plans.
• Comfort with CRM and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue across AI-powered research platforms and data licensing.
• Champion AI-enabled discovery and analytics tools for researchers.
• Use consultative selling to tailor high-impact solutions.
• Build strategic relationships with libraries and academic leadership.
• Develop account strategies and long-term partnerships.
• Forecast and manage pipeline with Salesforce, Gong and Clari.
• Share market insights to inform product and GTM strategy.
• Represent Elsevier at conferences to generate engagement.
