Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior bid and service design professional to lead end-to-end solution development for public sector opportunities. You will work with stakeholders across bid teams and partners to design tailored, costed solutions that meet customer objectives and drive business value.

In this role you will shape high-level service design, engage with technical leads, and ensure the solution aligns with affordability targets while managing risks and ensuring a smooth handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated service design experience – capturing existing journeys and re-imagining future journeys.
• Experience identifying how tech can improve customer experience and value for money.
• Public sector bidding experience in Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability to work with bid teams and wider solution workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape end-to-end solutions in line with strategy and affordability targets.
• Develop high‑level service design and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with partners, suppliers and tech leads to embed AI and technology at the heart of the solution.
• Create bid narratives and edit materials for solution responses with senior bid leadership.
• Identify risks and coordinate handover to transition teams.
