MAXIMUS is seeking a senior bid and service design professional to lead the development of tailored, costed delivery solutions for public sector opportunities. You will work with subject matter experts and operations teams to translate client requirements into feasible delivery architectures and compelling bid narratives.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and hands‑on design work to ensure solutions meet business objectives while balancing affordability

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience - capturing existing customer journeys and leading the re‑imagination of future customer journeys via facilitated workshops
• Experience identifying how technology can improve customer experience and increase value for money and the documentation of functional technology requirements
• Prior experience of Public Sector bidding within Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments
• Proven ability working with key bid team and wider solution workstream stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Understand market, bid opportunity, and tailor solutions with SMEs.
• Lead a matrix solution team to deliver an end‑to‑end solution aligned with strategy and affordability targets.
• Manage stakeholder engagement within bid teams and with wider Maximus stakeholders.
• Develop the high‑level design for the service and coordinate with partners/suppliers.
• Ensure AI/technology is central to the solution and delivers business value.
