Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior bid and service design leader to drive end-to-end solution design for complex customer journeys in the public sector. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, align technology with business value, and shape bid narratives for successful proposals.

The role requires proven service design experience, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering integrated solutions in response to client requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable service design experience, including capturing customer journeys and facilitating workshops.
• Experience documenting functional technology requirements and how technology improves value for money.
• Public sector bidding experience in Employability, Health, Justice or Contact Centre environments.
• Proven ability to work with bid teams and wider solution workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service design for customer journeys.
• Collaborate with technical leads to ensure AI/technology delivers business value.
• Coordinate bid teams and stakeholders across the solution.
• Develop bid narrative and act as final editor for written materials.
• Identify and mitigate risks and support transition to delivery.
