Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer for the Global Private Equity & Startups Practice. You will advise PE firms, portfolio companies, and startups on multi‑cloud Salesforce and Agentforce solutions, guiding sourcing, portfolio operations, and revenue growth.

You will run discovery sessions with senior leaders, craft tailored demos and proofs of concept, and translate AI and data strategy into tangible investment outcomes. Travel to US sites will be required.

Qualifications

Strong track record in technical pre‑sales, solution engineering, or solution consulting for enterprise software.
Business acumen: understanding PE startups, EBITDA impact, and growth.
Hands‑on curiosity about generative and agentic AI; ability to explain value of AI agents.

Responsibilities

Advise on agentic transformation; act as primary technical and strategic advisor to PE firms, portfolio companies, and startups.
Lead executive conversations with MDs, Operating Partners, founders, CFOs, and CIOs; connect AI/data strategy to investment theses.
Design and deliver tailored demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept showing AI agents at work with people.
Articulate how Salesforce accelerates revenue growth, efficiency, and exit readiness across portfolios.
Partner with startups to build scalable platforms from early GTM to enterprise operations.
Collaborate with the Relationship Management team on account strategy and deal orchestration.
