Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer for the Private Equity & Startups practice. You will advise high-growth firms and their portfolio companies on deploying multi-cloud Salesforce and Agentforce, shaping AI-driven operating models across portfolios.

You will lead executive conversations, craft tailored demos, and translate data strategies into tangible business value, driving deal velocity and scalable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales or solution engineering for enterprise software.
• Ability to run executive-facing engagements with senior leaders (Managing Directors, Partners, founders, CFOs, CIOs).
• Strong storytelling, demo, and whiteboarding skills to translate AI/data strategy into value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Advise PE firms, portfolio companies, and startups on multi-cloud Salesforce and Agentforce solutions for deal flow, LP relations, portfolio operations, and revenue growth.
• Lead discovery and value-framing sessions with senior leaders to connect AI and data strategy to investment theses and EBITDA improvement.
• Design and deliver tailored demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept showing AI agents assisting sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management.
• Articulate how Salesforce accelerates revenue growth, efficiency, and exit readiness across portfolios; build repeatable AI and data playbooks.
• Collaborate with startups to scale platforms from early go-to-market to enterprise-grade operations.
• Represent Salesforce at PE-backed/high-growth events and mentor other SEs on PE/Startups narratives.
