Job summary

Array Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to understand and support customers ranging from EPCs to IPPs. You will advocate for the customer by defining requirements, prioritizing them, and identifying opportunities to add value for Array.

This role requires deep knowledge of solar and power generation markets, a proven sales track record, and the ability to work remotely from a home office across the U.S. Travel will be approximately 30–50%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • Experience in solar/renewables or power generation equipment market is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Array Technologies’ Product and Services to Solar EPCs, Developers and IPPs.
  • Strengthen Array's existing customer relationships by understanding customer objectives and how Array can support them.
  • Create and manage annual sales plan for Array's customers.
  • Ensure customers, contractors, and industry players understand Array's product differentiation and value proposition.
  • Be ahead of the curve in understanding upcoming customer activities and projects.
  • Understand each prospective customer’s concerns and decision variables.
  • Lead Array's response to RFQ’s and close sales.
  • Define and develop proposals for Array products to maintain or enhance market share.
  • Work with sales and product management to address challenging customer requirements or field issues.
