Job summary

RealPage is seeking an Account Representative to grow new customers and maintain existing client relationships in a territorial role. The position requires visiting management companies and owners, attending client meetings, and representing RealPage at industry events.

The role emphasizes a consultative sales approach, ROI demonstrations, and collaboration with Sales Engineers to close opportunities and exceed quotas. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in business or 4 years relevant work experience in sales.
• Minimum of 1 year of formal field sales or inside sales with a record of exceeding quotas.
• Strong track record of proven achievement selling software products or services.
• Experience with value-based/consultative selling.
• Ability to identify, qualify and prioritize prospects; present to large groups.
• Ability to manage a geographic territory and meet travel expectations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and close new sales within assigned territory.
• Follow up on implementations for new product and service sales.
• Generate new sales and add-on revenue weekly.
• Qualify and manage a sales funnel; build a regional territory plan.
• Deliver web-based presentations with Sales Engineers.
• Engage with VP & C-Suite executives across organizations.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas; adapt to change.
