Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to join its sales team in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will prospect, qualify, and close new business by delivering Spectrum's communications solutions to small businesses.

You’ll conduct needs analyses, manage the sales cycle from first contact through final sale, maintain records, collaborate with internal groups, and participate in meetings and training to stay current with products and strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience or telecom/technical industry experience.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong multitasking and administrative task management.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses within your assigned sales territory.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify and recommend Spectrum Business solutions.
• Achieve sales and product targets across data, phone, video and mobile services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and deals using required software.
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure order execution and customer service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum products and strategies.
• Consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication.
