Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to lead commercial banking relationships, manage portfolios, and drive revenue growth. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with credit, operations, and treasury teams to structure client-focused financial solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in commercial banking, strong financial acumen, and a client-first approach. Travel and relationship-building will be central to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field.
• MBA, CFA, or ABA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial or small business banking and 2+ years in client-facing relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts in-person or virtual meetings with clients at least quarterly.
• Remembers key details about client business and personalizes interactions accordingly.
• Resolves disputes or concerns by listening first and finding win–win solutions.
• Builds internal advocates by being responsive to credit and operations teams.
• Can quickly extract key financial ratios and interpret trends from balance sheets and P/Ls.
• Understands cash flow as the core driver of small business viability and identifies issues.
