Job summary

Ahtna, Inc. seeks a Director of SLED Business Development to drive enterprise growth across state, local, and education markets in the United States.

You will identify opportunities with governments, school districts, and public authorities, and build strategic partnerships to deliver differentiated solutions. This senior role focuses on establishing pipelines, expanding geographic presence, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ten (10) years of progressive public sector business development experience.
• Strong understanding of public procurement regulations.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Ahtna’s enterprise strategy for state, local, and education (SLED) markets.
• Identify funding opportunities and infrastructure initiatives to grow revenue.
• Lead customer engagement from opportunity identification through award.
• Build executive-level relationships across government and public entities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administrations, Political Science, Engineering, Construction management, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or related field.
