Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Partner Solution Architect, Security, in the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization to work with strategic Security partners and ISVs.

You will own the technical relationship, design joint security solutions, and help our customers meet security objectives. You will engage with customers at CxO level and hands-on engineering/product teams, traveling ~25% to collaborate across partners, AWS service teams, and customers to accelerate security-focused cloud

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Partners' trusted advisor: Collaborate with AWS Engineering service teams and partners to drive customer success.
• Business partner: support partner management and development of joint go-to-market strategies.
• Public engagement: share thought leadership through blogs, white-papers, and public presentations at events.
• Community: participate in AWS technical community and advocate for security solutions.
• Evangelize a partner’s value proposition within AWS and with customers.
• Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for regulated workloads.
• Develop executive relationships within partner organizations.
• Provide architectural guidance to promote successful partner engagements.
• Help define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy for ISV partners.
