Job summary

AWS is building a new Security Services team and seeks a Solutions Architect to own the technical relationship with enterprise customers, design and operationalize AWS security services at scale, and partner with a security services seller to drive adoption.

This founding role on the CSSI team will help write playbooks from day one and influence product direction by surfacing field patterns and requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical relationship with enterprise customers for AWS security services.
• Architect solutions for complex security problems and guide adoption with confidence.
• Work as paired technical and commercial unit with a security services seller.
• Help customers secure generative AI and agentic architectures with AWS security services.
• Surface gaps and shape the roadmap with feedback to product teams.
• Build relationships with AWS Partners for joint architectures.
• Produce thought leadership through blogs, reference architectures, and workshops.
• Connect service adoption to broader security transformation with account teams.
