Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solution Architect in Security within the Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). You will work with strategic security ISVs to shape joint solutions and cloud security engagements.

The role requires thought leadership, customer-facing skills at CxO level, and hands-on engineering and product collaboration. You will travel approximately 25% and collaborate with AWS service teams, partners, and customers to help secure workloads and accelerate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Partners' trusted advisor: Collaborate with AWS Engineering service teams (VPC, IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Lake, WAF).
• Business partner: serve as a key member of the business development and partner management team for customer success on AWS.
• Public engagement: provide thought leadership on Security solutions and contribute to external publications and public presentations.
• Community player: share best-practices within the AWS technical community of Solution Architects, Support, and Business Development.
• Evangelizing a partner’s value proposition internally and externally with customers.
• Establishing AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for regulated workloads.
• Develop executive and senior management relationships within partner organizations.
• Provide architectural guidance to promote successful engagements with software partners worldwide.
• Serve as a key member of the ISV Partners team defining go-to-market strategy for the segment.
