Job summary

Motion Industries in Newark, CA is seeking a Sales Development Representative who will proactively reach out to assigned accounts to identify and develop sales opportunities across branch locations.

You will quote and convert opportunities, coordinate with customer service for orders, and demonstrate our Ecommerce capabilities to customers, training when needed. A high school diploma and 2+ years of sales experience are typical; strong CRM, LinkedIn and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years of sales experience.
• Proven ability to make proactive outbound calls and identify customer needs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively makes outbound calls to assigned accounts to develop sales opportunities.
• Identify, quote, and convert sales on products not currently purchased.
• Coordinate with customer service for order entry, tracking, and technical needs.
• Collaborate across branch and division teams to execute customer requirements.
• Diligently update CRM to track follow-ups and quotes.
• Present Ecommerce capabilities and train customers on these tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
