Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking an organized Sales Support professional to assist a sales team in achieving targets.

You will coordinate with demand, supply and production planners on inventory, prepare quotes and proposals, and support renewals with accurate account documentation. Responsibilities include maintaining records, generating sales reports, and communicating with multiple internal groups to resolve customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and practical work experience.
• 2 to 5 years related experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with demand, supply and production planners on inventory availability for customer orders.
• Develop action plans to resolve excess inventory and stranded inventory levels with sales, finance and planning teams.
• Analyze and prevent aging inventory of finished goods.
• Prepare and document all quote, proposal, submission, or contract information in designated system and keep it updated.
• Follow up to ensure timely quotes and delivery of proposals.
• Remarket renewals, contact customers, create renewal proposals, and handle renewal activities with sales.
• Complete paperwork with proper signatures and provide to the appropriate group within deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of leads, sales activities, and customer communications in the designated system.
• Liaise with other departments or escalate to supervisor to resolve customer concerns.
• Create sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for the sales team.
• Maintain knowledge of the company’s products and services to address inquiries.
• Coordinate activities with the sales organization to achieve business goals.
• Develop demand plans for various segments and provide accurate forecasts.
• Support forecasting tools and financial systems; contribute to forecasts and demand plans.
