Job summary

Doppel is redefining how organizations protect identities online. We seek a Strategic Sales Engineer in the Western US to be the technical linchpin of our sales process, blending deep product expertise with strategic sales acumen to help customers understand, adopt, and succeed with Doppel.

You’ll partner with Account Executives, lead technical discovery, design and demonstrate solutions, and guide RFP responses.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering in SaaS/cybersecurity.
Proficiency with automation tech and modern software architecture.
Excellent communication translating tech language to business value.
Hands-on prototyping, POC delivery, and post-sale implementation support.

Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to strategize deals, design solutions, deliver technical presentations, and address customer questions.
Lead technical discovery to map customer environments and workflows.
Design and demonstrate solutions with demos and proofs of concept.
Own RFP/RFI responses with accurate, timely information.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to influence roadmap.
Support implementations and ensure smooth post-sale handoffs.
Track market trends to strengthen Doppel’s positioning.
