Doppel is redefining how organizations protect identities online. We’re seeking a Strategic Sales Engineer located in the Western US to bridge technical expertise with strategic sales acumen and help customers adopt Doppel.

You'll partner with Account Executives to tailor solutions, deliver compelling demos, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and ensure smooth pre- and post-sale handoffs, with a remote-first culture that supports flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions engineering in SaaS, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or digital risk protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with automation technologies and understanding of modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication translating tech concepts to business value for non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate workflows and ROI-driven recommendations; prototyping/POCs experience.
• Mission-focused, team-oriented, customer-obsessed mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales: collaborate with Account Executives to strategize deals and deliver technical presentations.
• Lead Technical Discovery: assess customer environments andRecommend Doppel solutions with value.
• Design and Demonstrate Solutions: conduct compelling demos and proofs of concept.
• Manage RFPs/RFIs: own technical responses with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: align with Product, Engineering, and Operations on feedback.
• Support Implementations: define success criteria pre-sale and assist post-sale handoffs.
• Track Market Trends: stay current on industry developments to sharpen positioning.
