Job summary

Doppel is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer located in NYC to be the technical anchor of the sales process, translating complex technology into business value. You will work with Account Executives to design solutions, conduct compelling demos, and guide customers from discovery to implementation.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in technical sales or solutions engineering, strong automation knowledge, and excellent communication skills to articulate ROI to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, pre‑sales, or solutions engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in automation technologies and understanding of modern software architecture.
• Excellent communication skills translating technical language into business value.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating customer workflows and ROI-driven recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, proofs of concept, and post-sale implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to strategize deals and deliver technical presentations.
• Lead Technical Discovery to understand customer environments and challenges.
• Design and demonstrate solutions with product demos and PoCs.
• Own RFPs/RFIs technical components and responses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Support implementations with clear pre-sale criteria and post-sale handoffs.
• Track market trends to strengthen Doppel’s positioning and sales strategy.
