Job summary

The role requires seven+ years of experience, a health sciences background, and the ability to train managers on regulatory requirements. Travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years of professional health and safety work.
• Experience administering a comprehensive occupational health program and audits.
• Understanding of governmental compliance and ability to train management.
• Willingness to cross-train in Industrial Hygiene and OSHA basics; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and counsel on program and procedure development.
• Collaborate with health and safety staff to design hazard recognition and mitigation procedures.
• Manage projects and ensure delivery of program commitments.
• Gather, analyze and summarize health and safety data.
• Offer alternatives and recommendations to develop or enhance programs and processes.
• Provide advice and counsel to management and client organizations.
• Oversee and implement safety programs as required.
• Supervise, mentor and coach employees.
