Executive Recruiting Group seeks a Safety Manager to develop and implement strategies with the General Manager and other Department Managers, aligning with corporate and site safety programs to achieve a strong safety vision.

The role coaches policy deployment, trains employees on safety tools, and serves as the PPE coordinator while ensuring local, state, and federal regulatory compliance. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with experience in manufacturing and/or safety program management.
• 5+ years in Industrial manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA occupational safety and health standards for general industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and resolve unsafe behaviors and conditions in the workplace.
• Improve safety culture and safety program.
• Conduct safety audits for regulatory compliance and track site KPIs.
• Provide leadership to safety projects and committees.
• Investigate incidents to determine root cause and prevention opportunities.
• Report incidents within 24 hours and report OSHA 300 log/summary as required.
• Update safety policies and procedures as necessary.
• Maintain and improve safety of processes by minimizing hazards.
• Participate in safety reviews for new equipment and process changes.
• Identify safety risks in process areas and establish mitigations.
