Job summary

Eetdbuyersguide is seeking a Safety Administrator to manage safety programs, develop and implement processes, and deliver accurate reporting to protect employees and operations. The role involves advancing safety initiatives, coordinating incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to regulations across the plant and facilities.

Senior responsibilities include leading safety committees, advising on laws and policies, conducting risk assessments, and inspecting facilities to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Industrial Health, Safety or related field.
• Proficient knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, procedures; OSHA standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including resolving sensitive issues.
• Ability to work with all organizational levels and as part of a team.
• Ability to develop alternatives, standards or practices within defined areas.
• Proficient with PCs including spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation applications.
• Strong analysis, assessment and investigation skills for action recommendations.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate effectiveness of strategies to reduce risks.
• Investigate accidents/incidents, near misses and follow up activities.
• Provide safety, health and regulatory compliance advice.
• Assist with safety committees and pilot projects.
• Conduct and report safety performance trends and statistics.
• Establish and maintain monitoring and auditing systems.
• Provide support on occupational health and industrial hygiene issues.
• Conduct safety training and demonstrations of safety equipment.
• Conduct new-employee health and safety orientations.
• Prepare monthly safety reporting activities.
