Job summary

CES Power is seeking a strategic and hands-on Environment, Health & Safety Specialist to lead the development and continuous improvement of safety, health, environmental, and regulatory programs across all company operations, including power generation and fleet distribution.

The role partners with operational leaders to foster a proactive safety culture, manage incidents, and drive risk reduction while ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and environmental regulations.
• Experience supporting field operations, transportation, fleet management, construction, industrial services, energy, utilities, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success building and leading safety programs across multiple locations.
• Ability to travel up to 50-60% as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's EHS strategy and safety management system.
• Promote a culture where safety is a core value and operational excellence standard.
• Serve as an advisor to executive leadership on EHS risks, trends, and opportunities.
• Develop measurable safety goals, KPIs, and drive accountability at all levels.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
