Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks an EHS Director to lead environmental health and safety across departments, ensuring comprehensive program compliance and continuous improvement. The role drives safety culture, policy development, and audits while coordinating with senior EHS leadership.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5–8 years of experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and willingness to travel regularly to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field; 5-8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Develop and standardize best practices for EHS training and communication to employees and managers.
• Ensure timely development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs, including JHA and annual program review.
• Communicate EHS issues and performance to the Director of EHS and VP of EHS and Risk.
• Conduct compliance audits and inspections; develop audit findings and follow-up actions.
• Assess safety and environmental impacts of new processes and equipment and set objectives.
• Keep current on EHS regulations and report on internal and external policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain the 4Insite knowledge center within the program.
• Travel regularly as required.
