Job summary

Thomson Reuters Account Manager, Risk is responsible for developing account plans and prospecting new business in the US, focusing on small to mid-sized corporate accounts with risk/fraud solutions.

The role requires selling complex software to SMBs, managing the full sales cycle, and partnering with cross-functional teams. Travel to customer sites is expected, and a flexible home-office setup is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to small and medium companies using a consultative and value-based approach.
• Experience with high velocity sales and land-and-expand strategies.
• College degree preferred with minimum 4 years direct field sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and build a strong sales pipeline to meet targets.
• Lead the entire sales process from initial contact to renewal for SMB accounts.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with accurate activity records and forecasts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and legal teams to tailor solutions.
• Engage in direct client meetings, in person or via MS Teams.
