Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Risk Management Lead to join our growing team. Lead risk management services for key client accounts and support the growth of risk management services for our business.

Houston, TX based with up to 20% travel to Eunice, NM. Responsibilities include risk profiling, cost planning, and reporting to the Head of Department, with end-to-end risk management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant risk management or risk program controls experience.
• 2+ years managing high performing risk management services and teams in a consulting environment.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercials models and delivery methods.
• Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling.
• Use risk data to inform investment planning.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget.
• Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead end-to-end project risk management across multiple projects/programs.
• Create risk management plans and processes aligned with client requirements.
