Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Risk Management to lead risk management for key client accounts and to grow risk services across the business. The role involves overseeing risk reviews, quantitative assessments, and development of risk management plans aligned with client requirements and frameworks.

You will supervise and mentor a team, run workshops, and collaborate with cost/schedule controls to optimize project outcomes and minimize risk exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant risk management or risk program controls experience.
• 2+ years managing high performing risk management services and teams in a consulting environment.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management services for key client accounts and support growth of risk management services.
• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to inform risk cost profiling.
• Produce risk reports to support communication of threat & opportunity status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform contingency levels.
• Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Integrate risk management within program controls with cost/schedule touchpoints.
• Collaborate with project controls teams to eliminate redundancies and improve processes.
