Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has extensive risk management experience on large construction programs, with exposure to data centers, critical infrastructure, aviation, life sciences, and energy sectors.

You will lead risk assessment, reporting, and governance for multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders and contractors. Responsibilities include developing risk plans, conducting quantitative risk analyses, and integrating risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Minimum three years of applicable experience on construction projects.
• Experience in program management or program controls environments.
• Deep knowledge of risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of construction contracts and delivery methods.
• Familiarity with ARM, Predict and Tableau tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of risk triggers to profile risk and budget needs.
• Use risk data to inform investment and contingency planning.
• Monitor overall risk exposure and remaining risk budget.
• Collaborate with contractors on risks and client-held risk perspectives.
• Produce timely risk reports for stakeholder communication.
• Perform quantitative risk assessments for cost and schedule.
• Develop and improve risk management processes for the client.
• Lead end-to-end risk management across multiple projects/programs.
• Create risk management plans aligned with client requirements and frameworks.
• Conduct regular risk reviews and update response plans.
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments in cost and schedule terms.
• Integrate risk management with program controls, cost, and schedule.
• Collaborate to eliminate redundancies and identify improvements.
• Share knowledge within risk teams and with the broader client team.
• Value stream map to identify pain points and waste reduction.
• Support supplier performance management with metrics and improvement plans.
• Provide support to expert witnesses in arbitration or litigation processes.
• Lead and manage construction stage contract and claims management.
• Assess contractual claims per contract terms and advise on disputes.
