Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Management Lead to join our team in Houston, TX. You will lead risk management services for major client accounts, drive risk planning, and oversee end-to-end risk controls across projects.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in risk management, 2+ years leading teams, and strong knowledge of contracts, cost and project controls. Up to 20% travel to Eunice, NM may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Graduate degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant risk management or risk program controls experience.
• 2+ years leading high performing risk management teams in consulting.
• Strong knowledge of risk identification facilitation and techniques.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience with construction contracts, commercial models and delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management for key client accounts and grow risk services.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule).
• Create risk management plans and processes per client requirements.
• Lead workshops with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Monitor risk exposure and report status to leadership.
• Collaborate with cost/schedule teams to integrate risk activities.
• Provide strategic contractual advice on disputes and claims.
• Develop and improve risk management services for clients.
