Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to lead project controls for capital programs at client sites. The role emphasizes integrating risk frameworks, governance, and quantitative analyses to drive better cost, schedule, and performance outcomes.

You'll collaborate with project managers, engineering leads, and controls teams, delivering training and ensuring proactive risk ownership across teams. Onsite work with flexible in-person collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in project controls, risk management, or capital project delivery, preferably within the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project and portfolio-level risk management frameworks, strategies, and governance processes to support successful project delivery.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops throughout all project phases to proactively manage project uncertainties.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to evaluate potential impacts on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Support project teams in developing, maintaining, and executing Risk Management Plans, Risk Response Plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain risk registers within enterprise systems such as Oracle Primavera Cloud (12C), ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and timely updates.
• Evaluate, monitor, and report on key risks, mitigation actions, and residual impacts affecting project cost, schedule, quality, and overall performance.
• Lead or support project assurance activities, including Independent Project Reviews (IPRs), Health Checks, Gate Reviews, and capital funding submissions.
