Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to lead cost, schedule, scope, and risk management across large capital projects on client sites in the United States. You will oversee project controls teams, implement standards, and collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Experience with EPC contracts, PMI/AACEi certifications, and field operations is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management or related field.
• PMI and/or AACEi certifications preferred.
• Experience in capital projects and project controls on large-scale EPC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight, coaching, and support to Project Controls Specialists throughout the project lifecycle.
• Integrate with the Project Management team to ensure successful project execution.
• Promote safe behavior and ensure adherence to safety rules on the project.
• Implement project management standards for cost, schedule, scope, and risk management.
• Ensure comprehensive project controls, validate contracts and contractor alignment with controls.
• Perform independent project assessments to ensure compliance with Stage Gate Process and standards.
• Train on SGP, PM standards, implementation guides, and QRA.
• Assist in portfolio analysis, risk assessments, and multi-year budget alignment.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and contingency analyses.
