Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead project controls across large capital projects. You will provide SME-level guidance on cost, schedule, scope, risk, and change management while coaching a team of Project Controls Specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or 8 years equivalent experience.
• 6 years minimum capital project controls experience on utility new gas generation or large process-industry projects.
• Ability to perform field walkdown observations and lift 25 lbs overhead.
• Experience with scheduling software and data analytics.
• Ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in field and office settings, preferably in power generation, transmission and distribution, or nuclear projects.
• Ability to prepare thorough technical documentation adhering to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide project controls oversight and coaching to Project Controls Specialists.
• Collaborate with Project Management to ensure successful project execution.
• Promote safety and adhere to site safety rules.
• Implement project management standards for cost, schedule, scope, risk and issues management.
• Ensure contract and contractor alignment with project controls requirements.
• Conduct Stage Gate Process compliance assessments and trainings.
• Assist in portfolio analysis, risk assessments, and multi-year budget alignment.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports and forecasts with Cost Analysts.
