Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Risk Management Manager to lead risk governance for the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice, focusing on identifying and mitigating professional, regulatory, and operational risks from intake to case closure.

You will collaborate with the Office of General Counsel, firmwide risk management, and outside counsel to implement practical controls, trainings, and workflows while maintaining high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management, quality control, compliance, or related function within a professional services organization
• Familiarity with restructuring, bankruptcy, ABC matters, and related engagement risks
• Working knowledge of independence and conflicts-of-interest requirements
• Advanced degree or professional credentials preferred
• Experience with ABC engagements and related regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management for the FAS practice and coordinate with GCO and leadership
• Develop practical controls, workflows and training from intake through case closure
• Maintain risk register and periodic reporting to leadership
• Oversee Enterprise Risk Management for ABC entities and the broader FAS practice
• Coordinate with insurance brokers on coverage questions and claims
• Supervise client proposals and acceptance processes to ensure independence and conflicts policies
• Track statutes, case law, and bankruptcy rules across jurisdictions and translate into guidance
