Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force customer requirements.

You will work with engineering and business development teams to support field tests, demonstrations, and end-to-end network architectures. Up to 50% travel is expected, with a remote work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS/Network Eng with 2–5 years experience in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force operational priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound.
• Coordinate with BD team to meet strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos and presentations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Assist in responses to RFIs/RFPs.
