Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Program Director - Retirement Solutions to lead a team of Retirement Specialists covering Texas. The role emphasizes strategic account management, relationship building with plan sponsors, and achieving sales results within the territory.

Ideal candidates will have a undergraduate degree, FINRA licenses (6/26) and five years of sales experience in financial services, with preferred credentials in CFP/ChFC/CRC/CRA.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred in related field.
• FINRA Series 6 and 26 licenses required; Series 63/65 may be required.
• Financial services designations (CFP, ChFC, CRC, CRA) preferred.
• Five years of sales experience, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of pension, public sector plans and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of retirement plan professionals and drive sales targets in Texas.
• Develop and execute annual marketing plans to expand plan sponsorships.
• Manage relationships with plan sponsors and key partners at multiple levels.
• Monitor territory progress toward monthly/quarterly/annual goals and adjust plans.
• Provide coaching to the remote team to improve consultative sales and retention.
