Job summary

Nationwide Financial seeks a Senior Retirement Specialist to drive sales, educate plan participants, and deliver service across an assigned territory. You will develop and retain relationships with participants, train team members, and identify prospective small cases, with travel required within the territory.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Program Director and other Nationwide teams, requiring strong communication, presentation skills and knowledge of defined contribution plans.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in related field, insurance, business, or marketing preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 license and life/health licenses required; Series 63/65 may be necessary.
• Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver education for plan participants.
• Develop and retain relationships with plan participants and key contacts.
• Schedule and conduct seminars in assigned territory.
• Lead and train Retirement Specialists and serve as primary contact for inquiries.
• Lead special projects related to enrollment, marketing or administrative processes.
• Collaborate with home office teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
