Job summary

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead regional teams across the United States. The role focuses on directing field teams, building business plans, and driving distribution, merchandising, and revenue growth.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5+ years in retail sales, strong planning and leadership skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, and data tools. Fluency in English and legal work authorization in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of retail sales, wholesale grocery or route sales required.
• Strong planning, organizational, leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills in understanding complex data to develop actionable initiatives.
• Proficiency with Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel/Word, MSA data, Salesforce, and syndicated data.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides direction to all assigned team members in support of company and regional objectives.
• Develops and executes effective business plans at accounts assigned to him/her.
• Oversees routing and call coverage to ensure merchandising objectives are met.
• Analyzes business opportunities and develops execution plans for geography.
• Works with team to grow operating profits and revenue year to year.
• Communicates goals and provides visibility to performance against goals.
• Evaluates business results and recommends change strategies.
• Guides team with policies and operating strategies for consistency.
• Manages data collection for timely reporting of retail metrics.
