Qualifications

• 5-8 years of mortgage experience.
• Residential mortgage experience required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• Must register as a mortgage loan originator (NMLS).
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of lending laws and RESPA.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situation, goals and lending needs.
• Collect and analyze information about finances, goals, risk tolerance and credit history.
• Analyze financial information to assess loan eligibility for a solution.
• Make recommendations on lending solutions to meet objectives.
• Advise customers on risks and benefits of alternatives.
• Promote Citi's lending and other financial services to clients and partners.
• Visit customers outside Citi's offices based on clientele and market conditions.
• Work with internal partners to support and grow customers.
• Refer customers to Citi professionals for other financial services.
• Partner with Operations to ensure smooth loan processing.
• Work with Processors/Closers to ensure timely closing.
• Develop key referral relationships with realtors, builders, etc.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
