Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Residential Mortgage experience required.
• 5-8 years of experience in sales/finance or related roles.
• Proven product sales capability is required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws, privacy and RESPA.
• Strong customer service and relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Expertise in general lending products and mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situations, objectives and lending needs to help them achieve home ownership.
• Collect and analyze information about financial situations, goals, risk tolerance, cash flow and credit history.
• Analyze financial information to assess whether customers and properties qualify for lending solutions.
• Recommend lending solutions that meet customers' objectives and explain risks/benefits.
• Promote Citi's lending products and services to clients and referral sources.
• Visit customers outside Citi's offices as needed to grow relationships.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support and grow mortgage business.
• Refer customers to Citi professionals for non-lending financial services.
• Coordinate with Operations, Processors and Underwriters to ensure timely loan closing.
