Job summary

Harbor Foods is seeking a Replenishment Buyer to manage inventory procurement and optimize order fulfillment across Harbor warehouses. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, supplier partnerships, and effective communication within a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring fill rate, inventory turns, and expired inventory while coordinating with Category Management to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid intermediate Excel level with proficiency in MS Office.
• 2+ years of direct purchasing/buying and vendor interaction experience.
• Knowledge of foodservice, convenience, grocery or CPG industries beneficial.
• Experience in a large high-volume, multi-SKU environment.
• On-site in Lacey, WA or Modesto, CA for 3 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Achieve KPIs: fill rate, inventory turns, aged inventory, and product spoilage management.
• Process purchase orders for Harbor warehouses under daily dashboard review.
• Expedite orders or secure secondary resources when demand shifts.
• Handle transfer orders between warehouses per hub/spoke needs.
• Coordinate with Category Management and Customer Service on shortages or delays.
• Oversee item lifecycles from first purchase to last, with lifecycle changes.
