Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P.

is seeking a replenishment specialist to maintain appropriate inventory quantities for produce, meat, floral, specialty, or grocery across stores served by our distribution center. You will analyze inventory levels, replenish accordingly, ensure purchase orders are approved and dispatched promptly, and coordinate with Regional and Global Buyers, Vendors, and Facility Teams to keep product availability optimal.

Qualifications

• Professional telephone etiquette and superior customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal.
• Retail or purchasing experience (prior WFM experience preferred).
• Fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Intermediate computer skills; knowledge of and aptitude to learn warehouse management systems and technology (Orderlink, EXE, and PeopleSoft preferred).
• Ability to multitask and cope with stress in a productive manner.
• Proven ability to be a team player in a fast paced environment.
• A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and a passion for WFM products.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes inventory levels and replenishes accordingly.
• Ensure that all purchase orders are approved and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Make changes as needed to existing purchase orders to ensure that the correct product is received and pricing is correct.
• Process allocations as requested by regional leadership.
• Communicate effectively with Facility Teams, Regional Buyers, Global Buyers and Vendors.
• Submit new item forms to Inventory Control for slotting.
• Compile reports for buyers as needed.
• Attend all team and facility meetings.
• Provide ideas and suggestions that contribute to the growth of the team and/or improve work environment.
• Participate in period and quarterly physical inventory as needed.
