Job summary

Harrington is seeking a Regional Buyer to support the Portland, Spokane, and Seattle locations by managing replenishment, reviewing inventories, and coordinating with Demand Planning. You’ll work with suppliers and internal teams to optimize stock, reduce costs, and mitigate supply risks while ensuring on-time delivery across multiple sites.

The role requires 1–2 years in purchasing or supply chain, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across several locations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive supplier and internal relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage replenishment and stock purchase orders for assigned product lines across Portland, Spokane, and Seattle.
• Review inventory levels and identify opportunities for transfers between locations.
• Partner with Demand Planning to review Min/Max levels and purchasing forecasts.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier lead times, and delivery dates and expedite orders when needed.
• Help identify potential stock additions, reductions, excess inventory, and supply risks.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support vendor-managed and consigned inventory programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory availability, service levels, and cost.
