Job summary

US Foods in Houston, TX is seeking a Replenishment Buyer to run market-level replenishment operations, owning logistics, costing, and KPI delivery. You will partner with Area Buyers and leaders to ensure continuous product supply and meet commitments.

The role is 100% onsite, requires 5 years purchasing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain. Proficiency in Excel and cross-functional collaboration is essential to success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of purchasing experience required.
• Extensive food service knowledge and supply chain experience.
• Proficient with desktop software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong collaboration across teams and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Daily replenishment duties and KPI monitoring.
• Coordinate with Area Buyers and Replenishment Assistants to fulfill functions.
• Monitor inbound product quality and address issues.
• Manage inventory including slow/obsolete items and spoilage.
• Provide SME guidance on replenishment processes and policies.
• Lead and coach Replenishment Assistants and drive continuous improvement.
