Job summary

HD Supply seeks an inventory management professional to oversee category inventory across the enterprise, develop replenishment strategies, and execute SKU transitions to maintain network balance.

The role collaborates with internal and external cross-functional partners, analyzes data to minimize inventory days on hand, and drives actions to reduce stockouts while optimizing fill rates across the global supply chain.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline; 2–5 years experience in inventory or related field.
• Experience applying inventory concepts (EOQ, min/max, safety stock) and SKU transitions.
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee category inventory management across the enterprise.
• Create replenishment strategies and execute SKU transitions.
• Maintain network balance through parameters and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Identify and address fill rate issues and excess inventory across the supply chain.
• Manage supplier relations and import orders; coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Inventory and Finance.
• Support aged, obsolete and excess inventory reduction strategies and forward-buy analyses.
