Job summary

CoBank is seeking a relationship-driven banking professional to manage significant accounts and maximize credit and financial services for customers. You will develop plans to capitalize on opportunities, while mentoring junior staff and supporting profitability goals.

The role requires 8 years of relevant banking experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance. A hybrid work model is offered, with frequent travel to support assigned markets.

Qualifications

• 8 years relevant experience required; preferably in banking, financial services industry or agriculture.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages day-to-day customer relationships for complex, high-visibility accounts and develops plans to maximize profitability.
• Develops relationships with Farm Credit System partners to generate new business and retain existing business.
• Identifies opportunities to cross-market CoBank products and services and leads implementation of marketing plans.
• Guides credit analysis and financial data interpretation for new or renewed financing arrangements.
• Reviews approval or approves loan terms within delegated authority for assigned accounts.
• Mentors less experienced staff in account management and marketing techniques.
